How Linkflow compares

"Workflow" covers a lot of ground, and products differ a great deal in what they're good at. Here is how Linkflow lines up against the three alternatives buyers most often evaluate.

When each option fits

Generic workflow tool

Fits when IT already has a team to design and run it and you want to build detailed, bespoke requirements. Standardizing several processes quickly tends to become a heavy design effort.

Expense-only tool

If expense claims are the only problem, a dedicated tool is the fastest fix. Extending to approvals and HR requests later means adding another product.

In-house build

An option when strong, unique business practices can't be expressed in a package. You then own maintenance, regulatory updates and audit support indefinitely.

Linkflow

For mid-sized companies that want to standardize several request processes at once and put the resulting data to use. Especially effective when "we can't tell where approvals are stuck" and "reporting takes too long" are the pain points.

Migration

We have many customers who moved from generic workflow tools and expense tools. Existing request data is imported from CSV, and past approval history stays available for reference. See the Implementation Guide.
